Million pound investment in Swanage Hospital unveiled to residents
After years of planning and months of building work, a major refurbishment of Swanage Hospital including a new therapeutic garden for patients has been unveiled.
Friends of Swanage Hospital, who funded the £1.2m work from donations and fundraising events, invited residents, former staff and the Swanage Mayor to view the impressive new facilities.
“It was a great project to work on. The ‘Friends of Swanage Hospital’ is a great organisation and I am very honoured to help create this therapeutic outdoor space. It’s some of the most rewarding work we do. I’m looking forward to seeing the garden flourish and the patients enjoying every part of it.”
